Your guide to the Brewers slide.

Just in case you are running out of excuses to blame the slump on, here is a refresher course. I'll go bulletpoint to save a lot of typing.

  • Prince told the media this is most likely his last year in Milwaukee.
  • They waited to long to bring Weeks back, and are puscifying him now that he is back.
  • Yuni.
  • Casey.
  • K-Rod whining to the media about not closing games.
  • Our manager is stubborn and plays bad players despite the fact that they have sucked for a month straight.
  • Lawrie is killing it in Toronto, and this outing by Marcum proves the trade was a very bad idea.
  • The Brewers aren't getting attention now that the Packers are back.
  • Our draft picks waited too long to sign.
  • Miller Park Drunk doesn't post enough new stories on his site.
  • The Beer Pen Podcast doesn't get enough listeners (seriously download that shit).
  • Nyjer Morgan needs to stop the antics, they are a distraction.
  • All the "beast mode" antics have cursed the team.
  • Braun is too worried about a batting title.
All excuses I've heard or will be hearing about soon. Some of them real, some not. Please don't use more than two of these excuses in the same conversation though, the Brewers playoff chances depend on it (or at least my sanity does).
