Working along the MN border has it's moments at times, like this year when the Brewers took four of six from the Twins, when the Packers beat the Vikings twice or when the Badgers dominated the Gophers. But none of them would have been as sweet, had I not made this humiliation bet with a co-worker. His name is John, he was on the Od(d) Twins Convo podcast we had back in the day discussing the Twins series at Target Field. Normally he doesn't talk a lot of shit about the Vikings, but he had a feeling they were going to dominate the Packers at the Dome this year. So we placed a little wager on it, loser had to buy lunch and wear a shirt the other guy made for him. As it turned out, it was the best bet I've ever made. His shirt read "Clay's hair gets me hard" on the front and on the back it read, "I love Wisconsin, congrats on making the grand daddy of them all, The Rose Bowl". This was especially stinging as he is a U of M alum. Thanks for taking part in making this my favorite birthday in recent years. Thanks to Nate (pictured with John), for mocking him with me, John for taking it like a champ and Kevin for the delightful buffet.
