Rico's Rant: Don't Have a Hart Attack
I've been debating for countless hours now which is cooler John (Stacheford) Axford's sweet mustache or Corey Hart's domination. Lets begin with Corey and his recent hot streak. How in the blue hell has this freaky ass wolfman become so flaming hot that he even got a curtain call? If you told me that Hart would be leading the Crew in long balls in June I would've said, "pass the weed", but its true. He already has 12 homers, the equivalent to his season total in 115 games last year. To be completely honest I don't foresee him keeping it up, if he gets 15 total home runs this season and cools off I won't be pooping my jean shortz in disbelief. Each time manwolf gets on base I thank God that he has granted us with this span of good luck. Before I move on did anyone see Corey's post-game interview after he hit the walk-off on Friday night? Telly Hughes asked how he was able to bang that no-doubter out of the park and Corey's classy response was, "I don't know". To me Hart has it all including, good looks, smooth playing style, and great interview skills. One more thing...I hate to bring this up, but did anyone else break out laughing when Corey Hart made that sensational catch against the Twinkies? The one where he leaped at the wall, caught it and fell to the ground, all the while managing to keep his sunglasses (at night) on, and then proceeded to do that goofy ass smile of his. My goodness I rolled on the floor laughing for about 5 minutes after I saw it.
The next order of business is the return of my boy Chris Crappyuano as they call him on the streets. The 31 year old left hander is reportedly making his first start Thursday for the Brewers, the first time since 2007 when he had his second Tommy John surgery. Now in podcast number 7 Ronald mentions the infamous 22 game losing streak for Cappy back in 07 and obviously the reason for the struggles was the Tommy John. I'd say he blew it right before his many losses and toughed out the remainder of the season, but that's just an opinion. I think its a hair too early to bring Cappy back into the starting rotation, whats wrong with starting slow and making a few relief appearances? Regardless, I'm excited as all hell for his return. If Chris is coming back does anybody know Turnbow's number, we could use a steady closer and someone equally as ugly as Corey Hart to poke fun at. And another wish for me would be if we trade Princey (his nickname given by Ken Macha, which I'll call him until he starts playing better than Corey Hart) and need a first baseman we call up my other boy Richie Sexson... that would be awesome!
I'll leave you with a question of the week. Who would you rather see as the Brewers manager?
A.)Ken "nose picker" Macha
B.)Ned "Yost Infection" Yost
C.)Rick "80's hair" Peterson
D.)Jerry "Auggie" Augustine

I'm pretty sure that having a heart attack is a big deal. You may not want to joke about it.

Of all the shit we joke about, that is the one that got questioned? It's nothing more than a bad pun or a play on words. Relax.
