Young G gets paid

It looks like the Crew has finally worked out a deal with the young right hander. Thank god Melvin didn't fuck this one up. Yo got paid and hopefully this will keep him happy to stay in Milwaukee for the entire length of the contract. The deal is worth a reported 30.1 million with an additional 13 million in possible bonuses. The contract gave him a raise this year, bought out three arbitration years and a free agency year, with an option for the year after or a buyout. This also gives Yo a no trade clause through the 2012 season and a ten team trade list after that. He can also opt out if he does well enough in Cy Young voting and other stuff. Not sure how it all works out. I'm just a lowly factory worker. Congrats again to Yo, this means Tyler doesn't have to worry about wearing a jersey of a former Brewer for a while (sorry Joe, your JJ jersey has to go).

If my info is wrong, blame JSonline, that is where I stole it from.

Check back for another Podcast this weekend.

Wow, It still amazes me how much these guys get paid. And how much they think they need to get paid. Don't get me wrong I am a really big fan but man that's a lot of money. I glad we still have him, he is a great pitcher and hope he does good for us this year.
