The Return of Something Brewin

The Brewers’ season is underway.  Thank the lord that the football season is finally over and we can finally watch something every day rather than waiting to watch the Packers get raped on Sunday.  It truly is a shame that the Twins built a new ballpark, mostly because the idiots that go to River Falls won’t shut their fucking mouths about it…but really, on to business.

I’ll just make a list of the things that I am and am not excited about for the coming year.  After being on hiatus for so long, I feel like doing anything analytical would be inappropriate considering my slightly negative and hostile nature.

Excited About:

Going to Milwaukee with the boys
Drinking beer in Milwaukee with the boys
Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder Combo
Gallardo and Wolf at the top of the rotation
Dick Weeks?
Casey McGehee
Bubba’s Fried Chicken in River Falls

Not Excited About:
Failure to address our situation at Catcher
Failure to address relief pitching
The signing (and hopefully later release) of Carlos Gomez
Corey Hart sucking in general
Losing Prince Fielder

All else aside, I think the Brewers will have a good season despite the several issues that they still face on both offense and in pitching.  I am a little anxious to see how the starting rotation will do with Doug Davis in the mix.  If I had to be completely honest I would say that it’s going to be a complete disaster, but I’m trying to avoid my first heart attack at the age of 24.

Safe to say I agree with Ronald’s predictions for the NL Central, however, I could really give a shit who wins the other divisions because making the playoffs is my only concern.  With the Cardinals being so damn good, the Crew has to sack out for the Wild Card if they plan on playing baseball in October.

Other sports news includes that of Tiger Woods returning for the Masters on Thursday, Duke winning the NCAA Tournament, and Randy Levine telling Mark Attanasio to get raped.

I hate to end it so early but duty calls.  Good night and good luck to our beloved Brewers.
