50+ hours till first pitch

It's Friday at about 9:20 AM. That means we only have a couple more days till the games start meaning something. Yo will take the mound after Mark Antanasio's dad "sings" the National Anthem, again. Can't we get a hot chick to do it. Fuck it, if Mark is going to field a competitive team, I'll listen to his dad again.

Speaking of the team, it's been awhile since I gave my opinions on some of the news from spring training. First off, let's talk about Corey "I can't see with glasses, let alone sunglasses at night" Hart. This man is the new Bill Hall. I might get criticized by the few remaining Hart fans, but I can't take it any more. He has to go. Cut him in the next two days and eat a fourth of his contract, at this point I'd rather see a Lorenzo Cain or Jody Gerut struggle than Corey Hart. Hart seems to have a bad attitude towards the fans in Milwaukee. Maybe it's just me, but since he fell apart a year and a half ago, he doesn't care. Which leads to the rumors that the Brewers offered a contract out Jermaine Dye. Dye reportedly declined, I'm not really sure why. He isn't going to sign anywhere else any time soon. Hart was reportedly being shopped to Washington. Do it and do it fast Doug. Dye would be an upgrade offensively at least, plus Corey has been giving up on fly balls in the field for a while now.

The rotation is almost set. Bush got the fourth starter spot, Parra and Narveson are headed to the pen until we need one for our fifth starter, and Suppan is on the DL. Suppan will be back around the time we need a fifth starter, so cross your fingers he kept on the DL then too. My hatred for Jeffrey has been well documented. So I'm not going to go into it again, it's played out. I don't care which lefty makes the rotation, I like Parra but if he is a better long relief guy, then so be it.

That is all the time I have for now, I might get to some more later. Otherwise, I'm going to try putting up my AL previews tomorrow. They will be shorter than the long winded NL ones I put up last week. And I hope everybody got the humor in yesterday's April Fools changes. We don't have thousands of readers (yet) so hopefully our few "loyal" readers got the humor in it.
